III liga (Poland)
III Liga (Trzecia Liga, (:ˈtʂɛt͡ɕa ˈlʲiɡa)) is a Polish football league that sits at the 4th tier of the Polish football league system. Until the end of the 2007–08 season ''III Liga'' referred to a league at the 3rd tier,〔(2007/08 Polish league results and tables at RSSSF )〕 although this changed with the formation of the Ekstraklasa as the top level league in Poland. It's below II liga and above IV liga.
== Season 2015/16 ==
As of the 2015/16 season there are 8 different regional leagues that make up the III Liga tier. Each league covers two of the 16 Voivodeships of Poland:〔(III Liga summary page at 90minut, with links to individual tables )〕
* Pomorsko – Zachodniopomorska (Pomerania and West Pomerania)
* Kujawsko – Pomorsko – Wielkopolska (Kuyavian-Pomerania and Greater Poland)
* Dolnośląsko – Lubuska (Lower Silesia and Lubusz)
* Opolsko – Śląska (covering the Opole and Silesian Voivodeships)
* Podlasko – Warmińsko – Mazurska (Podlaskie and Warmian-Masurian)
* Łódzko – Mazowiecka (Łódź and Masovia)
* Małopolsko – Świętokrzyska (Lesser Poland and Świętokrzyskie)
* Lubelsko – Podkarpacka (Lublin and Subcarpathia)
